Ordinance on Protection against Non-Ionising Radiation (NISV)
The NISV regulates the limitation of emissions from electric and magnetic fields generated during the operation of fixed installations. These limits are set to protect the population. The NISV concerns, among other things, buildings near overhead lines, cable lines, overhead contact lines, substations and communication transmitters. The value of the field strengths can be determined with stimulation and measuring devices and allows an assessment of the load.
